Daydreaming of Brussels

My first visit to Brussels was last May this year and it was just couple of hour with tour. Taking you to have a daydreaming of Brussels, the land where my chilhood fave comic was created. Happy to spot Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock in a building.

Visit the most famous landmark, Grand Place where i can’t stop spinning around admiring those gothic style building. Grand Place is UNESCO world heritage site. The details here are absolutely breathtaking. I sit there for a while and enjoy the view. Spot Laduree and Godiva just around the corner. We also go to a statue named Everard’t Serclaes Monument that have urban legend. Touching his right hand will bring luck. We have a lot of fun doing it.

Of course we didn’t miss the little boy, Manneken Pis. The statue turn out so small landed at the corner of the street. Bought the famous strawberry covered chocolate from Godiva just in front of Manneken Pis. The street full of belgian waffle store and chocolate candies. Those waffle guarantee to make you drooling. It’s a must buy when you go here, no question. You also can buy souvenir in this street.

It’s a short trip to Brussels and i’m glad to have a great time here though i didn’t visit many places. The famous delicacy beside waffle and chocolate is fries with many choices of sauce and clams. And i miss that. My first impression that Brussels have a different vibe compare to Paris or Amsterdam. So visiting Brussels can give you a new experience. Brussels is easy to reach from Amsterdam only about 2-3 hours by train or bus. More information about Brussels here https://visit.brussels/en
