Italian food nowaday become a lifestyle menu at almost every cafe. You can find spaghetty or pizza as a popular food in a very absurd way. So i got super excited to find Osteria Bandung that serve real italian food that taste absolutely delicious and fit Indonesian palate very well. Yes, i’ve tried italian restaurant in Jakarta and even at Florence and Milan and that’s why i have this thought. So let’s find out my lunch escape and everything about Osteria.
This retaurant located not so far from Pasteur gateway which is a very good location. The place have simple interior and have 2 floors where the rooftop is the fave as it is open room. It feel warm and casual. We talk a lot with the owner and find out that Osteria has 2 location, Bandung and Bali.
And this is my fave spot.
They have menu from starter, sandwich, pizza, pasta and desserts. I quickly impressed with the menu because they have many authentic italian food that i rarely see in Bandung such as risotto,caprese salad, and ravioli. Also they made pizza dough, pasta and sauce by their own. And you really have to try their coffee because they use molinari coffee that is a legendary coffee roasting company from Modena, Italy.

Caprese Salad
The presentation make me drooling. They use bonconcini with tomato and rocket on top. It’s nice i love bonconcini.
Cheese Pizza
Cheese pizza is a thin pizza with tomato sauce and 4 kind of cheese mozarella, parmesan, gorgonzola and goat cheese. I really love it, the dough cooked perfectly, tomato sauce has perfect taste, they nailed it with their sauce. Those cheeses make this dish so delicious. You have to order this. The smell of the pizza is so fragrant and taste so so good. No strange taste from the blue cheese, everything is just blend perfectly. And this is not that kind of pizza with trending melted pizza that goes viral on instagram. Taste is way more important than that.
Spinach Pappardelle Mushroom Sauce
We love it. Pasta taste very good and fresh, perfectly cooked, it’s not aldente but i love it, i’m not a fans of aldente pasta. It’s not too creamy, with mushroom and a touch of cheese is perfect.
Risotto Seafood In Tomato Sauce
Actually this is my first real risotto. It taste delicate, but i still can taste the texture of the rice. Light and fresh. I’m still very curious with their risotto because they will add more risotto menu.
Tiramisu & Panna Cotta
It’s too die for. Both of them. We love it so much. Don’t skip desserts when you come here.
Overall food all are amazing and comforting. This place itself i think is perfect to chill out and enjoy good food with relaxing ambience. Comfort food and place, that’s just how i like it. We fall in love with Osteria Bandung. And i highly recommended Osteria Bandung to everyone looking for real italian food with good quality, fresh ingredients, authentic with affordable price.
